Scurvy and SuperMarkets

After fear of scurvy and malnutrition and I finally found a proper supermarket yesterday and got carrots and yogurt and some cheese and apples and peas in a can and ate that as dinner and breakfast actually... This is the amazing thing... no matter how muh I resist it. I am spoiled in the sense that my body is used to having high quality food... you see here they are "organic" crazed... but even their organic food when deep friend in pig lard looses a lot of its nutritional values... I am feeling much better as a result... I arrived at Blue Springs outside of Kansas City and I am just taking a really relaxed day because I am tired after 4 days of driving and actually non stop action, good but none stop since I flew out... So I went to the movies last night some crappy film called August Rush - about this boy who was given up for adoption and then re-found his parents who didn't know he existed through music... staring Kerry Russel, (felicity) the guy from that film... the Irish guy, Velvet Goldmine I think it is called who only now is becoming famous, the kid from Peter Pan with Johnny Depp and Robin Williams... I guess people have to pay their bills... it's not that it was too bad, but it wasn't good lets just put it that way, but in light of all other Xmas films this was the lightest... it was Oliver Twist, meets Annie, meets Some One to Run Too... meets Peter Pan... but it was in NYC and we have established I love that town... plus the guy has an Irish accent and that is always good.  So as I said today I am taking it easy, I woke up late, watched "what not to wear" on TLC whatever the hell channel that is... there is nothing to watch on TV here... only there was a funny Hispanic sitcom I saw last night with some Mexican American called Goerge Lopez... it was really funny, and actually was written by some guy called something Kogan... anywho... so I have been sitting at Starbucks now for about 3 hours... just chilling, getting some work done, catching up on my corresponding... etc etc ... I did my laundry too finally... :) Tomorrow I have some meetings and then I may explore the wonders if Kansas City, basically only the Jazz area I assume would be interesting... I would go today but honestly I am just dead...  Then off to Little Rock and then I may be going to Graceland, not been a dream of mine or anything... but it should be interesting especially because it is so important for other people... Tennessee should be cool... Memphis and what not... I have yet to do much more shopping that is for sure... I don't think I'm in Kansas yet... LOL
