Woody Allen and also the President

I don't usually like to get all political here... well, actually it only sounds like a good opening line.
So what have we got on our platter for today:

1. Like an idiot I slammed the car door into my eye... don't ask me how exactly I did it and why I can't even say it is the first time it has ever happened, but what I can say is that my eye is swollen and it looks all red and like crap and it even hurts... WTF people?!

2. A quote from "Love and Death" by Woody Allen

Sonja
: Judgment of any system, or a priori relationship or phenomenon exists in an irrational, or metaphysical, or at least epistemological contradiction to an abstract empirical concept such as being, or to be, or to occur in the thing itself, or of the thing itself.
Boris
: Yes, I've said that many times.

3. Israeli former President Mr MF Katzav, serial rapist extra ordinare is apparently going to get off free of charge with a fake bargain after having sexually harassed, molested, sadomised, raped bribed, threatened etc etc etc... dozens of women who worked for him over the past few years...
I remember after my first jobbyjob where the wouldn't pay me my salary I left and decided that I am left with no other choice but to sew them. After all I worked and they didn't pay and there are laws and what could be the dispute really and I would even be benefited as they would be forced to pay for what they did. "Big mistake, huge" (Pretty Woman) As it turns out the courts and the legal system have nothing to do with justice, and I don't know exactly we were led to believe that such a connection actually exists in our society... So after the court had judged in my favor I was supposed to be paid my exact salary, not more naturally... although the law states that I am owed. Then they lied and cheated and then I was give two thirds of what I was originally owed and I ended up paying twice for parking. At the end of my second court date the judge told me, "be thankful that you got part of the money and let this be a lesson to you." And indeed it was. Now, I must say it didn't come as a surprise that there is no justice related to the legal system, on an intellectual level that is... but on the emotional level, when you hear these women talking, and you have some insider information, and you can just see that he is a lying ass... well... it is painful. 20,000 people went to protest in the centre of town against this deal... and I myself felt as sick as I did the day the Bibi was elected to be PM after the Rabin assassination... in retrospect that seems like small potatoes in comparison... people of the world, unite... or get ready to be raped... (I think that too is a partial quote from "Welcom to the Doll House" - funny movie)
Wouldn't it be nice if we were older
And we wouldn't have to wait so long
And wouldn't it be nice to live together
In the kind of world where we belong
You know it's gonna make it that much better
When we can say goodnight and stay together
Wouldn't it be nice if we could wake up
In the morning when the day is new
And after having spent the day together
Hold each other close the whole night through
What happy times together we'd be spending
I wish that every kiss was never ending

If this song weren't so overtly about sex, it could be about our society...

Peace Out
