Norma Ray vs. Cabel TV (c)

So there is supposed to be this big strike that the directors & screenwriters union are targeting against HOT cable supplier. Something to do with copyright laws and royalties...
Now, ok, so I could continue in my "Who Gives a Shit" attitude, or I can explain my position on the subject. Enough of this whole being aloof thing. No. I will take a stand!!! I will say, that not only do I not believe in "copyrights" per say... like what, just because I thought of something doesn't mean I own it, there is no boundary really is there... I mean, hey I'm thinking of an apple now (c), I own this apple, and I will target and kill anybody who thinks of this apple without my explicit permission, in writing. Now, HOT wants my apple, that I thought of, and I sold it to them. Now they want to think about this apple many times, I want money for each time they want to think about the apple I thought of first, and sold to them! Alright! In addition, I am disgusted by these so called lefty anti globalization, no NIKE, but All Star, Winston Lights smoking hypocrites, supposedly they want to better the situation, help directors earn their fair wages, with fare conditions, respectfully. when one of their stated claims is to make sure that at the end of the day, people who aren't in the union wont work, that people that charge less money for work rendered will be dealt with by the union.
In both cases above, all that is being done is that a few petty people with issues are stalling and halting, and delaying the natural evolution of things.
People in show business get paid well because nobody in show business wants to be paid little. That is obvious, you have to be a total fucking idiot to even bring up any other possibilities, the union grounds a certain figure, and we are all screwed. Now no director can make more that 5000 USD a week, because the union says it is ok to pay 4000... Why not let the market and man kind do their thing, and for all union people, I suggest you all shut up and get a job!
