work, weddings, war

Well, I was just reading a bit in my private blog, and I must admit that as time goes by, I am becoming more stupid, and less able to express myself verbally, which in fact in a shame seeing as I want to write, but also, not surprising seeing as in fact, editing is some what an autistic profession, one that I love very very much, thank God for that. (Even though I turned down a little job today) but I dont want to do things that do not interest me, and if I am going to do such things, I want to be paid a lot... in actuality that is more complex, because it is a job to be edited at home, and in addition to not having the equipment, I am allergic as hell and cannot really spend more than and hour or two in my home, but that is another story, in addition, it doesn't pay that much, also, I am supposed to be preparing for my production, so I am leaving time free, just in case I care to get off my ass and actually start doing something in the matter, and what else... ummm... I don't know... I guess I am still taking it a bit slow after my Italian adventure... I am tired and I need to rest, and that is it... Oh, and also, I must edit with Eyal and Zohar, and also, of course, let's not forget, check all my students exercises and grade them and shit... so in fact, not much time... In any case, I don't believe that in war time anybody is going to air a making of of some TV show... but, could be the biggest mistake I have ever made... I hope not...
Anywho... war, what is it good for? That brings to a strange occurrence that I witnessed on the University campus this week.

Due to the whole war thing, couples from the north had to cancel their weddings, and so, to help them, kind people joined together and created a big mega wedding for them that took place on on campus of the Tel Aviv University. Suddenly the university grass, better known for the amount of smoking done on it, combined with the occasional nap, had become an "elegant" wedding arena, there was a DJ and catering was served on the piazza in front of the central library, naturally I wouldn't know where that was just because it was so close to our dear building "Mexico" building, (another place that you can check in, but you can never leave...) My favorite couple that I was routing for of ocurse, was the couple getting married right on the steps of Mexico! I wish them luck. We were wondering for a moment if there was any correlation between where the HUPA's were placed and the character of the couples... Also, there was a free bar, but we didn't feel nice taking free drinks from those who had to escape from the war... So, just another hyper weird occurrence of war...
